Frequently Asked Questions
Medical School
Q: Do I have to be a Biology concentrator to get into medical school?
A: No. It does not matter where you decide to concentrate as long as you fulfill the pre-med requirements: one year of introductory biology with laboratory, one year of math, two years of chemistry, and one year of physics. The pre-med advisor in your house should be able to answer specific med school questions you have. The Office of Carreer Services also has much information online at http://www.ocs.fas.harvard.edu/resources/health.
Veterinary School
Q: What are the requirements for entrance into a vet school?
A: Veterinary schools have differing requirements. Consult the Office of Career Services and specific veterinary school web pages for more information.
